An economist with a masters from George Mason University, Moore formerly served as an economic analyst for the Heritage Foundation and also as senior economist at the Joint Economic Committee of the United States Congress. He has also participated in two Presidential Commissions. Stephen Moore is the president of the Club for Growth, and a contributing writer for the National Review. He has also served as the Director of Fiscal Policy Studies for the Cato Institute and continues to serve as a Cato Senior Fellow. Moore formerly served as an economic analyst for the Heritage Foundation and also as senior economist at the Joint Economic Committee of the United States Congress. From 1983 – 1987, Moore served as the Grover M. Hermann Fellow in Budgetary Affairs at the Heritage Foundation. He has also participated in two Presidential Commissions. First, in 1987, as Research director of President Reagan's commission on Privatization and also in 1988, as Special Consultant to the National Economic Commission.
