In his latest book It's Getting Better All The Time: The 100 Greatest Trends of the Last 100 Years, Mr. Moore teamed up with co-writer and fellow economist Julian Simon to chronicle decades of their collective research into the global human condition.  Detailed data on economics, health and welfare trends, environmental, sociological and natural resource scarcity are laid out in this compendium that is both compelling, and somewhat shockingly at odds with conventional wisdom.

Mr. Moore serves on the economic board of advisors for Time magazine, and is a regular contributor to The Wall Street Journal, Human Events, and Reader's Digest. Mr. Moore has appeared as a guest on shows such as:

An economist with a masters from George Mason University, Moore formerly served as an economic analyst for the Heritage Foundation and also as senior economist at the Joint Economic Committee of the United States Congress. He has also participated in two Presidential Commissions.

Stephen Moore is the president of the Club for Growth, and a contributing writer for the National Review. He has also served as the Director of Fiscal Policy Studies for the Cato Institute and continues to serve as a Cato Senior Fellow.

Moore formerly served as an economic analyst for the Heritage Foundation and also as senior economist at the Joint Economic Committee of the United States Congress. From 1983 – 1987, Moore served as the Grover M. Hermann Fellow in Budgetary Affairs at the Heritage Foundation. He has also participated in two Presidential Commissions. First, in 1987, as Research director of President Reagan's commission on Privatization and also in 1988, as Special Consultant to the National Economic Commission. Mr. Moore has appeared as a guest on shows such as Fox News’ Hannity & Colmes and The O’Reilly Factor, MSNBC’s Buchanan & Press, Scarborough Country, and Hardball, and CNN’s Inside Politics, Money Line and The McLaughlin Group. He specializes in topics such as economic growth, fundamental tax reform, Social Security reform, privatization and limiting government spending. He is the co-author of It's Getting Better All the Time: 100 Greatest Trends of the Past 100 Years and Still an Open Door? The Future of U.S Immigration Policy. He is also the author of Government: America's #1 Growth Industry. Moore received a B.A. from the University of Illinois and an M.A. in economics from George Mason University.
