...in honor of those who exhibit the requisite courage to advance in a meaningful way, the causes of truth and sciences. Nominations are being accepted for the 2005, Truth-Driven Thinking Awards - recognizing exemplary leadership and professionalism in three categories:
Nominees thus far: Tim Russert (is there anyone else as even-handed?)
Nominees thus far: Christopher Hitchens - for his history of courage to argue the unpopular; Hirsi Ali, for her courageous stand for free speech after her Dutch Film "Submission" criticized Islam, placing her in great danger and prompting the murder of the film's director, Theo Van Gogh.
Nominees thus far: James Randi; Michael Shermer;Your suggestions are welcomed! Please submit nominations below by August 31st, 2006.
